FREE HEALTH SCREENING BY TEAM OF HEALTH WORKERS.



The Ghana Nation Association of Adventist Students (GNAAS) of the Korle bu Teaching Hospital, celebrates their 15th anniversary this.

As part of the 15 years old anniversary, the association organised a mini clinic and health screening at Mamprobi, a nearby community.

On Saturday, 12th May, 2018, at about 10:00 am, the association dosplayed numeruous kinds of chemical drugs to aid and perfect the screening. During the screening, Ghnationhype had the opportunity to interview Dr. Kwadwo Brenya, a Dentist and also the President of the association, explaining that, all displays seen at the location, where all from the coffers of the whole Adventist Students.

Speaking at the event on the theme; 15 years of ministry; touching lives, reaching the world, he made it clear to the people at the gathering that, it is important health workers come to them but not always patients coming to them. He also told the crowd that, health workers present consist of Doctors, Nurses, Dentists and Laboratory Technicians who have all wholeheartedly dedicated themselves for the sake of  neighbours and the ministry as a whole.

Dr. Kwadwo Brenya explained that, although the celebration is a one day show, sub programs are also organised which are grouped quarterly. They are as follows:

1. First Quarter - Traditional Day.

2. Second Quarter - Health Screening.

3. Third Quarter - Musical Concert(Messiah's Praise)


Dr. Brenya also told the entire crowd that, if any individual, co-operate body,etc wishes to organise any health related program, they are ever ready to exhibit their professionalism at its best.

WORLD CUP - BOUND REFEREE HANDED LIFETIME BAN.

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has asked FIFA to remove referee Fahad Al Mirdasi from the upcoming World Cup in Russia after he received a lifetime ban from the SAFF for offering to accept a bribe to influence the outcome of a match. After the recent AFCON tournament, The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has made all available ratings to rank the performances of the African countries during the 32nd AFCON tournament.
