1 KILLED OVER " BANKU " WITH SOUP.





A 38 year old man identified as Kwabena Boahene on Wednesday 17 is reported killed by his two friends at Assin Subrinso, a farming community in Assin North Municipality of the Central Region.

David Amaglo a local reporter at the area told Kaakyire Kwasi Afari on Offinso based Time Fm evening news that there was an exchange of words between Kwabena Boahen, a native of Assin Dansame, now deceased, and his two friends identified as Ekow and Abena wura, a commercial driver demanding to join Kwabena Boahen in hands with a local dish "banku" with soup which resulted in a heated brawl between .

The reporter explained that the "banku" was purchased by Kwabena Boahen from a chop bar operator and started having pudding at the spot where the two came from nowhere only to demand a taste of the meal.

David Aaglo narrated the deceased snubs the two on their request which annoyed the two to attack and stabbed Boahen to die instantly.

He said the two took to their heels whilst the body of the deceased has been deposited at the hospital for autopsy.

WORLD CUP - BOUND REFEREE HANDED LIFETIME BAN.

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has asked FIFA to remove referee Fahad Al Mirdasi from the upcoming World Cup in Russia after he received a lifetime ban from the SAFF for offering to accept a bribe to influence the outcome of a match.
